    Mike Belloti out at Oregon

They had their 2nd biggest booster as AD right before Bellotti. Might as well lose the middle man and hire the #1 booster as AD.

QB Derek Anderson Lands In Arizona.

Whitehurst is older than Anderson. Anderson is the more known quantity, that's for sure. John Clayton is on the new Seattle ESPN radio affiliate everyday at 4:05 and he said Arizona and Seattle got in a bidding war over Whitehurst and that Anderson was 2nd prize.

Seattle trades for 3rd string Qb from San Diego

Seattle doesn't have a 2010 3rd rounder. It is the 2011 3rd round pick. Still, that's like two 3rd round picks for a guy we could have landed for just a 3rd round pick had we had one.

    Brandon Marshall

Boldin (and a 5th) just got traded for a 3rd & 4th. Randy Moss went for a 3rd. Marshall should go higher than that, but not the #6 pick. The Seahawks have a lot of holes. They need OLs, RB, WR, & a QB of the future, and that is just one side of the ball.

    Brandon Marshall

Denver can trade him. They want him gone, they will not likely get a 1st round pick for him. Plus Marshall has to play ball in this as well. Do you think he will take a lesser offer so the Broncos can get a higher draft compensation?

    Brandon Marshall

I doubt Denver can get a #1 based on the current market. Plus, the Broncos would probably prefer Marshall play in the NFC.

    Brandon Marshall

The Seahawks won't give up the #6 for Marshall. I also doubt they give Denver back the #14. My guess is they give up their high 2nd round pick for him, or something similar.

Taylor Mays - Draft Projection - NFL Impact

I heard an NFL guy on the radio today and it sounds like Taylor's 40 time was legit. It is amazing the evolution of athletes. Many of today's skill players are sons of former linemen. Taylor's dad was an NFL DL for 9 years.

Sarge's Take on Possible Superconference Breakdowns

When was the last time Tennessee made a BCS bowl game? That is why you can't add anymore elite teams into the SEC. IMO there are 14 five star programs. 6 of them are already in the SEC. We need to make other conferences stronger like the SEC, not weakening them while making the SEC even...

Sarge's Take on Possible Superconference Breakdowns

The major programs expect to play in the major bowl games on a regular basis. Since only two teams max go from each conference, a place like the SEC with 6 "five star" programs, already have a tough time getting elite bowl bids, let alone playing for the Natl. Championship. There are reasons...

Sarge's Take on Possible Superconference Breakdowns

Why put all the football powers in one conference? You have to spread them out. Texas, Oklahoma, & V-Tech to the SEC? No way. The SEC already has 6 elite programs, which is already well more than any other conference. You have to spread the mega programs around between the Super Conferences.

Sarge's Take on Possible Superconference Breakdowns

Rivalries and athletics fit are important. Piss off the fans & that $ goes away. Half the fun for college football is the rivalries & border wars. Down in SEC country where the professional sports markets are fewer, it is even more intense. Those LSU fans won't cry losing a Vandy or...
