A kid he never met before yesWasn't it last year or the year before when he played while his kid was on life support? Maybe I have the wrong guy in my mind but if he isn't in jail I expect he'll play.
I got yall
He whooped his kid with a switch.
Remember when that was a part of growing up right?
People wonder why our kids are growing up being little disrespectful punk asses...this is why.
The arrest stems from "the disciplining of a son with a switch," according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. The investigation has been ongoing, and Peterson testified for a grand jury weeks ago. Peterson missed practice on Thursday, but the Vikings reported it as a "veteran's day." The Vikings are "currently deciding on Peterson's status for Week 2."
my teachers whipped the heck out of us in Pensacola when i was young. I remember one principal caling my mom to get permission and she told him "give it to em good"
possible but I doubt. If you were charged now with the stuff our parents got away with then and vice versa foster care would be overun with misplaced children.Indicted though?
I'm feeling less dismissive.
Maybe he went too far with it.
Y'know, moreso than what we grew up with.
The Vikings have issued a statement regarding the charges filed against running back Adrian Peterson on Friday. Peterson was ordered to turn himself in to Texas law enforcement officials in response to an indictment on charges of injury to a child, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.
"The Vikings are in the process of gathering information regarding the legal situation involving Adrian Peterson. At this time, we will defer further questions to Adrian’s attorney Rusty Hardin."
It remains to be seen if the team will allow Peterson to play on Sunday against New England.
