After a lot of rejection and speculaion T.O. is close to signing.

Its official, the Bengals during their pre-camp media lunch had Mike Brown admit they are actively seeking to sign T.O.

This really, really makes me worried about Antonio Bryant. I don't see anyway Cincy would try to get Owens if Bryant was fine. Not sure if this means they would cut ties with Bryant...or if it is a PUP or IR situation. That is just speculation on my part.

Bengals president Mike Brown has confirmed the team's interest in Owens and indicated that an offer has been made to the free agent wideout, team's official site reports. "It's up to him," Brown said Monday. "We are talking to him. We have some interest."

St. Louis now out of the running per ESPN. Tweet from cincy local reporter says they expect a decision from T.O. in the next 48hrs.

It's a competitive team that gives him a shot to get to the big game. My guess is that he latches on to the Bengals unless they are really giving him a low ball dollar amount.

cbssports.com,
The Jets are the latest team to show interest in free-agent receiver Terrell Owens, according to ESPN.com. Though the chances of them signing Owens is considered to be "20 percent," it's a sign that the Bengals are not alone in having interest in the veteran. The Rams were considering making an offer to Owens but have changed their course and are no longer looking at him according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Bengals owner Mike Brown said on Monday that the team has discussed a contract with Owens and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. The Bengals passed on the chance to sign the 36-year-old receiver after a tryout in March, but have given it more thought now that he remains a free agent. "We have an opportunity to add a very productive player," head coach Marvin Lewis said. "He has a focus of what he wants to get done and is in focus with what we want to be."

Analysis: In Cincy or New York, Owens would be far from the primary receiving option as both teams are rich in receiver talent. We still think the Bengals will ultimately snare him, and when it happens he'll carry value as a solid reserve Fantasy receiver worth a middle- to late-round pick. With Carson Palmer as his quarterback and in an offense expected to throw more this year than last year, Owens should easily match if not exceed his totals from 2009 (829 receiving yards and five touchdowns with Buffalo). We'll keep you posted on his whereabouts.

The Cincinnati Bengals remain the favorites to sign free-agent WR Terrell Owens, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Bengals are offering an incentive-laden contract, and they have told Owens he has until Wednesday, July 28, to agree to a deal.

TO is nuts not to sign with the Bengals. I know the Jets are a better squad right now, but he's been rejected too much to not take whoever pays him. Plus, he's got to do better with a vet QB than a 2nd year guy.

Its official, signed a one year contract for $2mill salary with $2 in incentives possible.
