What Player Went Undrafted You Believe Shouldn't Have?

Drew Willy.

Great INT to TD ratio, good athlete, smart, solid player.

Not to steal your thunder, but I'm pretty sure he was drafted in the 5th round by the 49ers.

Nate Davis' learning disability

I know kickers are not a highly drafted position. However, I think Grahmn Gano will be the kicker where ever he ends up. I've watched him his entire time while at FSU, this guy is incredible. He is incredibly accurate as a place-kicker, and he is pin point deadly with his punts. I'm not sure how top end his leg strength is, but he regularly nailed FGs from 50+ yards.

RB:
Jeremiah Johnson (Hou per Sgt): Not a primary RB but definitely a solid role player
Devin Moore (Sea per Kingdome): Multi-faceted player that can produce with limited opportunities

DE:
Egboh Pannel (SF): Late round flyer for a team like... My Lions. Not necessarily much of an upgrade but good enough to challenge and spell the starter

ILB's:
Dannell Ellerbee (Bal) &
Darry Beckwith (SD): Thought if a team like... bypassed Curry and the front runners these two would be late round options to rotate with Dizon in the middle.

CB:
Derek Peques: Another later round option for bench strength for a team like...

S:
CJ Spillman: Not the ideal but his overall athleticism would provide bench depth if he could not outright win a starting job

K:
Louie Sakoda: Not focusing on Detroit but Jason can't play forever can he? Thought he would get a nod from someone though.

"first round talent" ILB Darry Beckwith is headed to san diego, which could be a great fit if the guy can develop any instincts at all.

QB Brian Hoyer is on his way to new england, a steal of a pickup. He could very easily beat out O'Connell and/or Guitierez and could be a future Cassel waiting to happen.

woohoo!

CB/KR Pete Ittersagen from my alma mater Wheaton College signed on today with the Jacksonville Jaguars! He is the second Thunder player in two years (Andy Studebaker was drafted last year and is on the Chiefs roster) to be signed to an NFL team. Saw this guy play his entire time here and he stood out every single game, a dynamic kick returner and a great cover guy with the best instincts of anyone I've seen at this level. Hope he has a chance to catch on!

Jamall Lee, 6'2" 225 lbs, RB, Bishop's College (Ontario) - Signed by Carolina

LENNOXVILLE – Jamall Lee of the Bishop's Gaiters football team set two records at last weekend's Canadian Football League (CFL) Evaluation Camp. Lee ran the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds, breaking the record of 4.41 seconds set by Jean-Frédérick Tremblay of Laval in 2004. He also recorded a 44-inch standing vertical jump, breaking the old record of 42", set by Sherbrooke's Samuel Giguère last year.

Lee's 10-yard time of 1.50 seconds tied for the fastest in the camp with Matt Lambros (Liberty), while his 20-yard time of 2.52 seconds was the fastest recorded at this year's event. Lee also recorded a 10 feet 2.75 inch standing broad jump, placing him second behind only Milos Zivkovic (Simon Fraser), who jumped 10 feet 4.25 inches.

Lee's record-setting performances are among the best recorded at either the CFL or NFL combines this year. His 44-inch vertical jump would have placed second overall at last month's NFL combine, behind only Ohio State cornerback Donald Washington, who jumped 45 inches. His 4.39 time in the 40-yard-dash would have been fifth overall, and first among running backs.

His father was the last Canadian RB to lead the CFL in rushing - Orville Lee, 1988

Here's an undrafted guy who could be a solid developmental DB down the road and a special teams demon as early as 2010.
