If Cutler got shafted he was the cause. No fan of the new regime but Cutler created his situation because he didn't like the change and feared it was not a match made in heaven for him.

He was the franchise quarterback, and is one of the top quarterbacks in the league. New coach comes into town and tries to quietly trade him away to get his own guy. Cutler didn't create this, the new coach, aka Doogy, created this mess. And Doogy was brought on board at a cheap rate following the firing of a very good head coach.
