The Lineup Doctor 2009 Edition

I don't like Desean w/out McNabb and I don't like St. Louis vs. Washington so I guess by default I would go Earl Bennett. Btw, I think it will turn out fine b/c Chicago is going to need to throw the ball to have any chance for success.

Thanks for the PM about Mike Bell last week. I did put him in once Pierre Thomas was ruled out. I'm rolling Cadillac Williams in that league this week since Thomas may get some touches.

In my other league, also .5 ppr, I have a lot of options and questions:

3 WR- Johnson, Welker then should I go Earl Bennett or Cotchery?

2 RB- Slaton, Lendale, Chester Taylor, Moreno, Mike Bell, and Sproles

W/R- Bennett or Cothcery or whatever RBs are leftover from above? (Jeremy Maclin also, but I'm keeping him on the bench until he at least has one reception)

Should I play Rivers against Bal? I only have Hill against Sea to back him up..

Thanks for the sound advice last week, I won both openers.

glad to see the message got to ya in time

I like Bennett over Cotchery as your #3. Chicago will need to toss the ball around in this game and Bennett was targeted a ton last week.

For your RB's I would go with Slaton and Lendale. Tennessee is a tough matchup for Slaton but he topped the 100 yds in both of his games against him last year. I think Lendale scores 2 TD's against Houston.

At flex I would go with Cotchery. NE Defense is not looking so hot this year especially with Mayo hurt.

QB: Gotta go with Rivers.

Good luck

Hey Chris,

Thanks for doing this again.

Need 2. Tough situation. CBS standard scoring, No PPR

P.Thomas - Probably not playing
R.Bush
Caddy Williams
D.Ward
J.Lewis

Also, starting
Hasselbeck over T.Edwards
G.Jennings and D.Mason over D.Avery and Breaston
R.Royal over M.Lewis
Nedney over Elam
Redskins over TB

Currently trying to trade for more flexibiliy at RB

Thanks

GoToLeep:

I think I would run with Caddy and Lewis :crossfing

Bush is worthless in non-ppr leagues and I think Caddy's performance last week will keep him as the lead runner for a while in TB. Lewis seems to be the least hurt amongst the Cleveland RB's and has a good matchup vs. Denver.

WR choice

Just learned Welker is out for today's game. So I need to start another WR.

Ochocinco - on the road against tough DB's
or
Cotchery - at home with a rookie QB

or I have the option to start 2 TE's and just 1 WR S. Smith(Car)

V. Shiancoe
K. Winslow

1 pt per 10 yards for all and 6 per TD. Non-ppr

I'm leaning toward Ocho, but the Jets are pumped up, they just may surprise.

Thanks in advance,

Chuck

DB's

That's debatable, but Woodson and Harris at home after Ocho's been talkin about doin the Lambo-Leap. They just may be better than Champ this week. But i'll roll with the 85 and take my chances.

Thx,

Chuck

WR Help

I am not sure if I should drop hester and pick up Johnny Knox. I currently have C. Johnson, RE Williams,Crayton, and Manningham, so I am mainly looking for them to provide a WR3/WR4 position with assistance for my Week 7 Bye which Johnson, Crayton, and RE Williams will incur. Not sure if Hester will heat up or Knx just fits Cutlers style and will be a go to.

I'm not sure what to make of the Cowboys or Bears passing games lol. I think I would hold on to Hester as he's their #1 and will still get a ton of looks

I'm going to give Royal one more shot. If he sucks ass again this week I'm done with the whole Broncos offense

How oh how I wish I had not have read what you wrote here Chris. I'd already put Royal's butt on the bench and now I'll have to consider playing him because of your post. I'm enjoying your thread very much. Thanks for all of the hard work that you put into it.

Who is a better start for my flex spot in a PPR league...Willis McGahee vs CLE or Roddy White @ NE?
