The Lineup Doctor 2009 Edition

Well since Felix Jones isn't a WR I think you have to go Royal and Moss

(I would still play those 2 if you can use Jones at a flex position instead)

WOW>>>This is what I get for cutting and pasting before I make coffee....
There's 3 slots for WR, I'm definately using Randy Moss for one,
Then I have Santana Moss, Eddie Royal & Devin Hester to fill the last 2.
I'm thinking sit Hester, but what's your call?

Yep. Hester shouldn't be starting above either of those until he proves some kind of chemistry w/ Cutler. BTW, I do think that will happen but I can't play him over the other two just yet.

I like Desean just a little more. Something tells me that McNabb has a little fire in his belly these first two weeks without Vick and he goes off big time.

Benson vs Den
Slaton vs NYJ(rushed for 4 yards on 7 carries vs Balt w/Ryan as DC...I think I made my decision...haha)

I am starting
Kevin Smith vs NO
MJD vs Indy

Slaton. Jets have Calvin Pace and Sean Ellis out serving a suspension. Not to mention that Kevin Walter could be out of the game too. All this lines up for Slaton to have a big game. I like Benson a lot but Slaton is the guy this week.

I had issues w/ Schaub and Cutler sucking week 1 so I picked up Flacco. Pick one to start -

Joe Flacco @ SD
Matt Schaub @ Tenn
Jay Cutler vs Pit

6 pts per TD, 1 pt per 25 yds, 2 pts for every 25 yds after 300 yds

Thanks

I still have a lot of faith in Schaub and I think he'll right the ship vs. a Tennesee D that gave up 363 yards to Big Ben. I would go Schaub

Somehow managed to get a WIN despite my 3 WR's got me a TOTAL of 9.8 points. Thanks to the Philly DEF and AP / Westbrook for getting me over the hump.

That said...I have a DOUBLE DIP question.

QUESTION ONE:
I HAD McNabb, he broke a rib, therefore I have the following options on the Wire:

Hill (vs. Seahawks)
Campbell (vs. Rams)
Sanchez (vs. NE) -- is this a potential pickup for the whole year??
Garrard (vs. Cardinals) -- this is my current backup

Not sexy, but there are some good "on paper" matchups (Campbell also plays DET in week 3.)

QUESTION TWO:
Receivers (I need 3):

Available WR:
Boldin -- (@ JAX) (assuming he plays I will start him)
DeSean Jackson (vs. NewOrleans)
Chris Henry (@ GB)
Lance Moore (@ Eagles) -- (a no show in week 1 despite 6 TDs...OUCH!)
Earl Bennett (@ Pitt) - picked off Waiver this week due to needing WR depth.

Thanks in advance to Chris for opinions and ideas.

For your QB situation, I would pick up Campbell. I love the matchups and he should put up good numbers for those two weeks at least.

For your WR's I would go witlh Boldin, Jackson (IF we find out Garcia gets the start) and Bennett. I was high on Bennett coming into the season and I don't think that the Bears will have any kind of rushing attack vs. Pitt. If Garcia is not the starter give Moore another shot.

Week 2 Help

Standard Yahoo scoring.

McNabb went down on me.

I can pick up and play either Campbell or Hill. I'm leaning Campbell because he has St. Louis and Detroit the next two weeks.

Marshall or Mason?

Leon Washington or Julius Jones?

Thx.

Thanks for your last answer Chris!

For this week, who should I start in my last flex spot?

Zach Miller or Michael Bush?

I'm starting DMAC as well and think the DMAC/Bush tandem can have a field day with this defense.

But Miller looks like Russell's security blanket...what do you say?

Bush the safer play here?

Which 2 of these RBs should i start this week in my PPR league?

Reggie Bush @ PHI
Ray Rice @ SD
Leon Washington vs NE
Ahmad Bradshaw @ DAL

Thanks

As stated before I'm taking Campbell for your QB

I'll start Marshall he got a lot of looks and I think Orton was having problems with his finger that will be less severe this week.

I like Leon Washington over JJ. SF D looks to be much improved and Jones will struggle imo
