WAS - so more about the potential sale - by multiple reports and sources right now, Bezos will NOT bid on Commanders. Also there was one other bidder who did not hit the $6 Billion mark, his bid was $5.6 Billion which he stated was Forbes estimate of team worth, so he also is out. Just leaves the two bids they have to date.
JAC - waive WR Willie Johnson with a failed physical designation
TB - bringing back the creamsicle uniforms this year
NYG - looks like Saquon Barkley will have company, DT Dexter Lawrence will also skip early off-season work wanting a new contract as well
HOU - okay hearing a new rumor, that is coming from multiple sources - that being that Houston wants Bryce Young, and if he is taken at #1 by Carolina they won't take a QB at #2 - instead will trade out, or take some other talent, as they want to build for long term and don't want to rush a QB they feel is not ready. NYJ/GB - latest on Rodgers - per reports NY owner is worried Rodgers will only be a one year option, but Packers want 2nd rd pick in 2023 and a 1st round pick in 2024, even willing to deal a 2025 pick back to Jets if Rodgers retires early. So for now everything is on hold as Packers are pushing for 2024 1st.
CLE - stadium naming rights are changing, ownership of Browns and First Energy have agreed to dissolve the naming rights contract - stadium for now reverts back to Cleveland Brown stadium

Reports are out that Daniel Snyder and Josh Harris have reached an agreement to sell the Commanders. Deal is not final yet, and 24 owners will have to approve Josh Harris for purchase, but this finally looks like the end of Daniel Snyder in the NFL. I wonder if he will release any dirt post the sale....

Has everyone turned on Romo? I don't watch near as many games as I used to but when I've watched/ heard a Romo game I've enjoyed it.

Haven't heard of deals in the NFL like this but in the NBA they'd put protections on it. Something like a conditional first round pick that goes to the Packers if it's outside the top 15, if not it is delayed till the following year, with an additional protection that should he play only one year it switches to a second. That would seemingly protect the Jets in case things go off the rails next season even with Rodgers.
Don't know if NBA gms are way more creative or if the cap is a bit more flexible in the NBA possibly.
