JAC - CB Chris Claybrooks arrested last week in Nashville TN for a pair of misdemeanor assualt charges including domestic abuse - supposedly grabbed a phone from a woman's hand (bruising the hand) and throwing the phone to the ground and damaging it.
WAS - process with Josh Harris is continuing but Brian Davis is pushing hard to buy the team, Harris bid - $6.05 Billion, Davis' bid $7 Billion. Some rumors were flying the money was partially from Saudi Arabia for Davis, but he flatly denied that yesterday.
DAL - Stephen Jones stated team is looking at extensions for Cee Dee Lamb and Trevon Diggs
PHI - evidently the new deal for Jalen Hurts isn't totally completed, still tweeking some things
NYJ - re-sign OL Cedric Ogbuehi

What they really need is a real #2 WR to pull some coverage off of Diggs, to free him up more.

Mike Evans if Tampa blows it up? Maybe?

QB - C.J. Stroud is suddenly the betting favorite to be 3rd QB taken - behind Will Levis
HOU - seriously talking going Def at their pick or trading back
ATL - talking to Stroud as a visit
SF - taking calls about trading Trey Lance - knew this was coming at least rumors of it

That would be a huge mistake. Very few QBs develop accuracy and Levis is inaccurate. Josh Allen is the exception people.

SF - taking calls about trading Trey Lance - knew this was coming at least rumors of it

Lol at this “rumor”. Lynch basically said Purdy was the favorite to start assuming he’s healthy which fuels rumors that Lance is available. If teams make an offer, of course you’re going to listen in case some crazy good offer is there. Doesn’t mean Jack. Teams trying to lowball is my guess. Best thing for SF is to let Lance start until Purdy is absolutely 100 percent. If he shines, value shoots up. If not, value doesn’t change much due to it being low now. Seems to be an assumption that Purdy will play this year, but that’s not 100 percent by any means. Can’t put all your eggs into the Sam Darnold basket when you have a legit Super Bowl contender.

Sam Darnold has been badly managed, I'm not convinced he is terrible in spite of some of his play. His coaches have been abysmal and as bad as he looked, he has also shown some flashes of being a respectable QB.

Well to further talks on Lance, it has been reported by NFL and team sources that Vikings and 49ers were talking Lance for Cousins, but since Vikings restructured Cousin's deal, the cap hit would be awful. However, there are more reports that 49ers are more than willing to deal Lance for right deal

I agree but you still don’t want to go into the season with him as your main guy. Purdy still has some question marks as far as if he will even play this year. That’s why they aren’t trading Lance at his current value.

If Tua got hurt early in season or even mid season and the Dolphins are doing well, he will un-retire in a New York minute.

DAL - rumors flying Cowboys may try to trade up to get Bijan Robinson

I think I called it. Cowboys need an rb because as good as Pollard is he will be coming off an injury and he is not built for a full load of carries.

Also doesn't hurt that Bijan is a Longhorn, and a big name selection. Jerry loves the flashy pick. Still think it's the right call though, but not sure how far they'd have to move up and what they would have to give up. Rb as good as he is isn't worth giving up a future 1 and I'd be hesitant to give up a 2nd rounder either.

NFL has suspended - Jameson Williams WR DET, WR Stanley Berryhill got 6 game suspensions. Players Quintez Cephus, S C.J. Moore and DE Shaka Toney are suspended indefinately due to betting rules violations

Follow up - gambling violation 4 players were on Lions team, and Lions have since cut Quintez Cephus and S C.J. Moore due to this violation.

DET - so Cephus and Moore bet on NFL games thus the at least 1 year suspension, and team cut ties. Williamson and Berryhill got 6 games for betting on NON-NFL games but on NFL property. It has also been noted that the Lions have fired front office folks as well due to gambling issues. This evidently was a pretty bad issue with the Lions
