Favre Drama Begins

He signed a 2 yr contract to play there last year, so hell yeah he'll be there. And if he does pull the douchebag move and not play and retire then he should be forced to give back all the money made from the end of last season til now. And be held liable for the money that was guaranteed to him this coming season.

Chubby, lol.

The rotoworld spin on the story,
Brett Favre told WDAM-TV in Hattiesburg (MS) on Wednesday that he's gained 14 pounds since January.

He grinned widely as he said it and may just have been joking. We'd hardly take it seriously regardless. Favre probably gained a few pounds while rehabbing his surgically repaired ankle, and is now working out routinely at Oak Park High to get into shape. His mind is clearly set on playing this year.

Don't let that fool you. He just wants to be able to fit into his skinny Wranglers again

rotoworld,
Coach Brad Childress insists he doesn't know if Brett Favre is going to play football this season.

"I don't know if he knows he's going to play," Childress added. "I've said this and I really believe it more right now. It would not surprise me either way." It's July, so it must be about time to thicken the plot for increased drama in August. Every sign all year has pointed toward a Favre return, and we're not about to let the last-minute staged drama sway our opinion that he's playing in 2010.

Vikings | Adrian Peterson believes Brett Favre will return Sat Jul 24, 03:43 PM
Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson said he believes QB Brett Favre will return this season after seeing him at the ESPYs, according to Jake Trotter, of The Oklahoman. 'I saw him down in L.A. for the first time this offseason, down at the ESPYs. Looking in his eyes, I got the sense he was coming back. I'll be going down to his house, telling him, 'Favre, I need you back,'' Peterson said.

rotoworld,
In an interview for USA Today, Brett Favre told the newspaper that he might play football until age 50.

This doesn't sound like a guy on the brink of retirement. "Hell, you gotta quit sometime," Favre said. "Then again, maybe I will be doing this when I'm 50 years old, who knows?" Favre admitted that he felt "done" after last year's NFC title game loss to New Orleans, but "the itch" has clearly returned.

Sounds like Favre is retiring got a tweet from por football talk and a minute later espn says the minny star trib is saying Favre has notify the Vikings that he is retiring. His ankle isn't responding well. I'm scared to start an offical Favre is retiring thread.

They are already saying that the Vikings think they can talk it over. So I'm not starting an offical Favre is retiring thread. If someone else wants to cool.
