FA Signing: DeSean: Staying or Going

Ok Riverboat Ron said the Panthers are interested but everyone else says there is NO WAY they sign him.

Take that how you would like.

Being friends with or knowing people he grew up with that are allegedly gang affiliated doesn't make him a gang member in any way though. The statement seems pretty straight to me.
Agreed, but we don't know the whole story, its starting to leak out.

Key things:
Not a single team member, NOT ONE is sad for this move, or has spoken out. I find that telling.
He has a history of blowing off meetings, and practices, and then insisting on playing - that pissed off a lot of vets on the team.
Kelly's system can make any Wr with speed a star, and the whole team believes this.
The cap savings allows for more extension contracts like Kelce and others got - Coles is coming due soon.

Not saying this was the right move, but the fact not a single team member is whining tells me this kid has issues.

Bucs, Cards, Jets, and Bears are a no.

He has informed Oakland that he's interested in playin for them.

Chiefs are a "we want him but we only have 4.5 mil in cap space". So probably no.

another way to know if there is issues. If he gets a multi-year deal, then its smoke by Philly. If he gets only a 1 year, then there was fire and a team is protecting itself.

I have been as skeptical about Oakland as most. But IF they get DJ, and add him to JJ and MJD with Schaub as a fill in until drafted QB takes over, that actually is a pretty solid off. Assuming they finish fixing the O-line to protect Schaub and I like their chances to improve. Now in a conf. with KC, Den and SD they won't go far, but still it will be exciting to watch. Would also help sell tickets

He will visit Washington on Monday.

Bills are interested at the right price but have stated they will not get in a bidding war.

Count the Chiefs officially OUT.

Ole Andy and his staff did some due diligence and said nope.

He spoke well of djax earlier this week. ..there might be something to this folks...

Speaking out against Chip will get you the djax treatment. The message he sent was well recieved by the team. Basically it's...you buy in, do your job, and shut up or i'll replace you.

Why is this such a surprise folks. Granted, I am a HUGE Eagles fan. But other than letting Reggie White go as an FA(which I STILL don't forgive them for....), what mistake on a player they have released?

Granted, they don't always have the replacement ready, but they cut bait at the right time.

Yup, I am sure that may be part, but I am betting there is other issues with DJax

Jackson to Washington being reported as a done deal.
They now think all this is his agents hype. No secret teams, and Washington not locked, they are trying to force things by using the media.

If the RAIDERS are leery of signing him, which they are now saying by all reports, I don't see many lining up to do it

He appeared to have a grand ole time at dinner with Gruden and clubbin afterwards with Hall and Garcon I believe. RG3 also met with him in Cali before he left to DC.
