I don't know if you guys watch Raider football. Regarding Darren McFadden. that guy.

DMac hasn't been the same since he had a break away play against KC. the DB caught him low in full stride. It was his last run in the game in which he gained like 180 yards.

Hasn't been the same since.
Hasn't run the same way again.

don't bet on DMac. Bush
DMac wasn't the same after his injury last year, but do we really think it is something that an offseason of rest won't fix? I don't think this is something he can't come back 100% from, it just was going to be hard last season. i don't feel the injury will effect him this year at all, will be watching him in TC though for sure to see if there appears to be any lingering issues. If you don't see any, I would not worry about the injury.

According to ESPN, The Raiders signed FB Lorenzo Neal, this should give the Raiders backfield and McFadden a boost in the blocking category.

Your projection there states that he will nearly double his production in year 2. What in Oakland has changed that will bring this jump in production?

a healthy McFadden getting 60% of their production

Forgive me father for I am about to sin...

I would have to agree with Miller that a healthy McFly would be enough to create quite a jump in his value regardless of whether the rest of the team improves.

If he looks good during preseason and outshines Bush... his stock will take a nice jump

Something really special is going to have to happen in Oakland in the offseason to convince me MCFadden is a nice buy. I need to hear some report about how well he is running, or how he is going to be the focal point of the offense, or how Garcia is really taking the offense to another level.

Other than that, until McFadden and the Raiders prove they are anything but a bottom 5 fantasy team, I won't be using any of my early draft picks on players involved there.

Last I checked, he's still firmly in a commitee with Fargas and Mike Bush. maybe I'll miss the boat at some point, but I can't jump until I see something resembling durability and sustained production. I love his talent, but he's just not in a favorable fantasy situation right now.

Here's my take on the RBBC.....DMac will only be in a committee if he doesn't perform. If he is looking good and being effective do you really think Old Al will let Cable keep his prize race horse split carries with Fargus? I do expect Bush to get some work, but DMac will get the bulk if he can step up.
