The weaknesses at Rb are more than made up at Wideout. This team will work!

damn teckie, you have me fired up even more
As of right now, Hillis is taking runs with the first offense. He leads team in rushing and recieving at his position. Just sayin.Hillis is the first junker you drop. He is not going to be the lead back in Cleveland. No way no how.
As I mentioned above. In 2008, in weeks 9 though 14, Hillis amassed 522 combined yards and 6 td's. That included 14 receptions. I remembered that well in 2009 and drafted him on a few teams. I went to the Browns/Bronco home opener in week 2 in Denver and watched Hillis fumble the opening kick, giving the Browns an easy score. The new Coach in Denver shelved him after that play. I am not saying this is the next Big Top 5 back in the nfl, but I am convinced he can perform as good and in the same role as a guy like Mike Alstott. Take Alstotts 2001 as my guide. 911 total yards with 35 receptions and 11 TD's. That is some fine #2 RB production, and i feel Hillis catches 45 passes on the low side. Anyway, that's my crack pipe synopsis on Hillis. As of right now, Hillis is taking runs with the first offense. He leads team in rushing and recieving at his position. Just sayin.
I have also heard the coaching staff is losing belief in Hardesty due to the injury thing. They also don't believe Harrison can take the pounding of an every day back.
Keep in mind though, that the last two things are all hear say from "sources" dunno:
Oh, Rice officially on PUP not IR. So there is a chance he may be available later in the year.

Last word. :cunning:The Broncos then and now are a far superior team to the Browns.
I'm glad you took the shot at him. That Hillis pick is looking a little better now
