As much as I want to rip on the guy now, the word is that he has had heart problems for years, so this is a very appropriate move. I would never wish such a thing on anybody. I really hope things get better for him.

Kickers are such a crap-shoot, I wouldn't waste a waiver move on one. More than likely, Hartley will be available after the waivers go through. Grab him off FA, use your waiver position on something you may need better. Although its worth pointing out that Tynes is the #3 kicker for fantasy points.

For me, its more so "guilty by association." Tebow by himself is an amazing college qb. But because he plays on a team full of the most classless, spineless players and coaches I have ever seen, he is part of that system, and deserves no special treatment. So as Nikki said, running up the score...
