Kelly thinks Tebow could be answer in Buffalo

"Its An Outrage"
Didnt Jim Kelly also think that going to a no huddle offense would fix the Bills ??

I'm sure Tebow could make a positive impact, the Bills are in need of help beyond a QB

Maybe Kelly should be the new HC or shut his pie hole.

I keep saying that I really don't think Tebow has a QB future, except in a pure run offense like Tennessee, Carolina etc. Buffalo is not such a place. Past that, I think he would be a great tight end. There's no question though, that wherever he goes, he is going to inspire. That's definitely something they need.

I'm with Skedar and have a different Tebow theory for the future. Instead of going the QB route, I think Tim would make an excellent TE. He has this magnetic attraction to run the ball into the end zone and I think a team who's advancing with Wild Cat could really make an offensive playbook interesting. I can see the Bucs developing their Wild Cat plays with Tim and being successful.

I'm not on the Tebow bandwagon but I won't deny him his praise either. However, I do feel that as a QB, he will come in over rated and adjust slowly to the must-play-as-a-team philosophy. Tebow has been afforded an offense that caters to him to much.

In the NFL, the defenses are stronger, smarter and faster. To keep Tebow fresh and furious, he needs a change of direction and responsibility IMO.

I think I would give Tebow a legitimate shot at quarterback before trying to change his position.

On one hand, I agree with you. He is no doubt a great QB. But because Tim is such a perfectionist and over-achiever I don't have the confidence in him to falter as a QB and then move into another position. But I could be wrong.

However, like you, I won't discount his ability as a QB. A college QB. I don't think he possesses the skill set to be an NFL caliber QB. He reminds me a lot of the Hefty Lefty, Jared Lorenzen who is currently playing in a sub-afl league. The type of offense that Florida runs suits him well, because he is a power runner who has the ability to throw if pressed. He is surrounded on all sides with a speedy offense that somewhat takes the focus off of him, allowing him to run whatever and wherever he pleases. I think he will find quickly that an NFL offense does not run like that, and an NFL defense will never allow it. Monte Kiffin was able to keep his offense in check during the Tennessee game, and he barely escaped with a win. In the NFL, he will be facing the greatest defensive minds the game has to offer, and I don't think he will cut it. He needs to seriously consider what his place will be as an NFL QB, and decide if he can be more useful elsewhere.

Only on a team with an established starter, who could mentor the kid. I think the kid has some talent, but in my opinion, he will be a big time bust as a NFL Qb if he is rushed to start and not given time to learn the game.
