WVU Settles lawsuit, set to join Big 12 in July

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. February 14, 2012 (AP)

West Virginia University announced Tuesday it has settled a lawsuit with the Big East for an unspecified amount, clearing the way for the conference power Mountaineers to join the Big 12 in July in time for the fall football season.

They are in totally as of today with a start date of 7/1/2012.

I think those couch burning bastards are idiots for having all their sports fly so far, but West Virginia brings a strong football program and decent hoops to the conference. Overall, Im much more pleased with adding them than say a Houston or an SMU.

I also find it amusing that come July 1st, when I speak of playing "those cousin screwing hillbillies", Ill now have to specify if Im talking about Mobilehoma or West Virginia.
