With the Rat out of Denver.....what RBBC is the most frustrating to fantasy owners?

As far as Jones being a man motivated by a drafted RB, I'm not sure that can turn him into a fantasy stud on this team.
He did it on an equally craptastic team with Sexy Rexy Grossman at the helm...juuuust sayinsall.

My fear with the Jets running game is what if Rex reapplies the Baltimore mentality? Using all three of Jones, Washington and now Greene as they used McGahee, Rice and Co last year? Food for thought. dunno:

That's a fantastic point! The situation is so identical. Not only is it the same headcoach, but the situation he is in looks familar. 3 runners, 1 of them a rookie, all seemingly able to make an impact. All on a team that is forced to run to protect a young QB and soft passing game.

PFW reports the Denver Broncos are expected to release second-year RB Ryan Torain soon. Torain, a fifth-round pick last year, was able to play in just two games last season between an elbow injury and a torn ACL.

True enough.

I would expect Rex to run Jones into the ground early on, with the rook and Washington getting spot-work. Then once Jones breaks down he has two "fresh" RB's with enough time in his system to then step in and deliver....

Then he can hope Jones recovers from his early beating in time to be a factor in the playoffs...

Watch out folks, McGahee has more knee clean up over the off season...so the Baltimore Running game will again be a muddle

This is a good point. From a contractural standpoint The Jets will probably have every reasson to run the wheels off of Jones this year even though he has had a lot of carries recently.

Nice point, Phicinfan. The Ravens will probably be a tough RBBC again. They were a tough one last year because when all were healthy they went in various directions at various times. The pecking order was not really evident.

Don't think Denver has necessarily moved away from RBBC. They begin clearing out their RB's but are back at it again signing Darius Walker to a 2 yr deal.

Don't see Walker as a threat to start but he could be utilized. If Jordan and Bucky share double digit % of the carries, Arry and Hillis as a COP/FB, the addition of Walker could unseat Hall as the #5 RB on the roster.

There are 6 RBs that could see varying amount of action - Looks like as much as things changed this offseason one thing may have remained constant.

The thing about Denver is this. They were a team going into the draft with glaring needs. They had holes all over their defense, and had 2 high picks to shore up 2 of those spots.

Then what do they do with their 1st pick in the draft?? They grab Moreno instead of Orakpo. They could have taken Orakpo and possibly gotten Moreno at 18. Hell, they could have moved up from 18 to get him around 15 if they really wanted to.

The point is that instead of addressing obvious needs, they spent their best pick on a stud RB. Why would they do that unless they intend to work his ass off? They could get a guy to take 60% of their carries anywhere. I think this kid is a 75% of the carries guy. The only way he doesn't get the bulk of it, is if he doesn't pick up the playbook or doesn't perform.

Broncos | Knowshon Moreno expected to be week 1 starter Sun May 24, 08:25 PM
Michael Lombardi from the National Football Post fully expects rookie Knowshon Moreno to be the feature back for the Broncos starting in week 1.
Our view: This is not shocking because the Broncos didn't draft Moreno with the 12th overall pick to sit on the bench. Lombardi speculates that the Broncos will release J.J. Arrington if his health problems continue. However, Pro Football Weekly has heard that LaMont Jordan may be on the roster bubble in a crowded backfield because he's not a good special teams player.

You think they were talking about Hillis making nice with the cheerleaders on 3rd down when the coach should be focused on what is happening on the other part of the field?
