Who's the MVP???

Let's be serious here, Aaron Rodgers is the NFL's Golden Boy and he's going to get the MVP. On the other hand, if I had a vote it'd go for Brees, who's having a monster year and there's no doubt the Saints would be much worse off without him. I saw enough in Matt Flynn last year to think that if Rodgers went down the Packers would still have a spot in the playoffs waiting for them.
 
.....and the saints would even be better with Rodgers on the team while the pack would take a small step back with Brees at the helm. Also the Saints would make the playoffs with flynn if Brees were hurt and Flynn was his back up.
 
I'm not so sure I'd agree that we'd be any better with Rodgers under center RC. Either way they are both great QB's who function at the top of their position in the systems that they operate in.

Sorry my friend but this is pure homer speculation.

And now that Flynn has thrown for 480yrs against a decent DET DST people will start to make the comment that it's partially the GBP system. And I think Rodgers MVP status will take a hit.

Oh, I still think Rodgers wins the MVP but "if Flynn can do it" probably swung a few borderline votes over to Brees. And I agree Matt "Scott Mitchell" Flynn just added a few zeros to his next contract.

Reading your reasoning here one becomes impressed with the level of dedication and eager willingness the posters in this thread have for a comprehensive understanding of the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers is the leagues most valuable player.
Not Peyton Manning just because he didn't play.
Not Drew Brees because his team wouldn't be nearly as good.

the NFL MVP is hands down the Chico Kid

and btw, The Chico Kid would never allow a shoot-out like Matt Flynn did.
