Should the Wolverines be included as well?

What gives, my smily guy with the Michigan Sucks sign went away!

12gauge your post has been noticed and the thought police should be arriving shortly. Your deviant opinion will not be tolerated and corrective measures have been implemented. The elimination of the anti-Michigan graffiti was only the beginning. If your therapy requires extreme measures do you wish next of kin to be notified?

Consider this a friendly warning and convert to a more acceptable position. Thank you.

Absolutely not. Not after what I went through in the Cooper era.

I'll say Detroit wins game one @ New Orleans. Also see wins at home against Washington, and on the road against the Packers, for a 3-3 September/October.

No...........I only picked those two 'cause they were winless last year and they came up in other threads.

Any other way , i could have picked several other teams. Like say, Notre Damn.

Sorry for getting off track a bit, but I just couldn't resist taking a shot at UM.

I like Michigan, it just seems they fell fast and fell hard. Seemed like it all started with that loss to App state. I know it wasn't but it sure seemed that way.

U of M historically has never been an early season winner. I remember when they used to start off with ND and lose - ND would schedule a game the week before and end up pulling it out. U of M did a little better when they started scheduling that as their 2nd game.

They have underperformed so often - losing 1-2 winnable games or letting lesser teams play it close - but then the whole coaching change was so ugly with players jumping ship because they did not fit the new game plan it went downhill quick.

I will consider a record over .500 much less contending for a bowl position this season as a positive worth becoming excited over.

As bad as they were last year, they will probably be happy with 5-6 wins this year. Maybe 7 if they get lucky.

7-5 and will go to a bowl game........I'd personally like to see better, but they're still growing.....Michigan has been notorious the past 20 years for losing their ROAD opener.....not sure about times before I was born that they opened with ND, but I haven't seen it recently.....

Carr was notorious for dropping at least one game that they should have won.....reasoning is very simple......Carr made the term "Michigan blowout" famous at UM.....if we were up on a team by more than 2 scores, he'd send the offensive playcalling into a shell...not once did i ever see him step on the throat of a downed opponent and finish them off.....
