Where will LaDainian Tomlinson go?

Man, I just don't see Tomlinson going to the Vikings. I don't think he would accept such a minor role in any offense. Plus, the Minny O-line isn't as good as advertised with the exception of Hutchinson, so it would be a tough go for him. I love LT but I saw him get tackled by blades of grass several times last year when he had a decent hole to run through. Also, Peterson has become more involved in the passing game, so I just don't see the opportunity for LT there.

The places that makes the most sense are Pittsburgh and Indy. He would have a larger role in the Steeler offense than in Minnesota. Indy would just be a good fit, but won't happen because they already have Addai and Brown.

I still like LT in Cleveland.

He could still be a headliner and it would give Davis a chance to mature....

No hope of a ring, though.

I don't think LT will go somewhere where his homes games will be in the cold. Drew Brees said last year he would like LT to play for the Saints so he could possibly end up there.

LT to the Saints would be an interesting move. He'd get less carries there than in Minnesota, though.

NO fits the bill perfectly as far as an established QB and a chance at a ring. If Bush doesn't return, I'd vastly increase those odds.

Have not read all the posts if already mentioned

What about LT going to the Colts a high potent competitive offense that is sure to go to at least the playoffs if not the AFC Championship game, just what the doctor ordered for a SB hungry LT

They already have Addai, Brown and Hart. Last thing Indy needs is another rb.

I actually like Pittsburgh as an idea, especially if they let Parker go.

Philly might make sense, as a back up if McCoy gets injured.

Giants if they let Bradshaw or others go.

How about Greenbay? No real depth behind Grant.

Minny could be a shot. NY jets if they decide to drop Thomas Jones...and Washington isn't fully healthy.

But I just don't see the Saints, as pointed out too few carries. Nor Dallas as they have too many rbs already.

(RotoWire) If Tomlinson leaves Minnesota Thursday without a deal, he is scheduled to visit the Jets on Friday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Analysis: The Jets are looking to add veteran depth to complement Shonn Greene, with Thomas Jones having bolted to the Chiefs. So far, there are no reports of any team luring Tomlinson with the promise of a starting gig and unless that happens, he figures to focus on landing somewhere where he has a chance to earn a championship ring.

This makes more sense to me. Better O-line (Minnesotas is overrated) and a younger, less established back to split with, plus he stays in the AFC.

I would be surprised if he signs with the Vikings................
