these kind of blanket statements bug me.rotoworld,
Reggie Wayne has reportedly informed coach Jim Caldwell that he will not be attending mandatory minicamp this weekend.
Wayne has often missed OTAs throughout his career, but he's always returned for mandatory work. This time around Wayne's desire for a new contract is at the heart of his absence. He may well be underpaid with two years remaining on his contract at less than $6 million per, but the Colts are trying to take care of Peyton Manning first. Wayne's absence isn't a fantasy concern. He and Manning will be on the same page by Week 1 regardless.

I get very nervous in these hold out sessions. I don't care how much you work out, or how well you know the offense, camps aren't just for systems...they are to get you ready for football contact. If you hold out...and just try to play...you usually end up being hurt. How many times have we seen this.
If this becomes a protracted hold out....then I think Wayne's value plumits. Especially if Gonzales is healthy..and Collie and Garcon are already in place.
