Per Rotoworld, Mike Zimmer has stated that he "wouldn’t commit to Case Keenum as his starter beyond next week."

He must be under some huge pressure from the fat wallets that own the team. (and pay his salary)

NO WAY IN HELL do you bench the QB that got you to 9-2 and a shoe in for the play-offs.

This is insanity at it's finest.

It might be different if it was Peyton Manning coming off injury but Bridgewater was never that good to begin with.

Wait until next season or at least until Keenum quits winning games.

What a shitty thing to happen to Case Keenum.

Maybe if he was black this wouldn't be happening to him.:rolleyes:

Vikes have 3 QB's that are not signed for next year. That's their fault. They should not even think about making the change unless Case goes into the tank for several weeks.

Isn't Rodgers a free agent next year. What if he pulled a Favre and went and played for the Vikings? If they can go 9-2 with chopped liver at qb wouldnt they autimatically be the favorites with Aaron Rodgers? Wouldn't Rodgers like to play with a defense that can actually stop an opposing offense. Receivers are on par with what he has in GB and he would have a running game, especially if Dalvin Cook is able to come back next year.

So yes, the Vikings are QB less next year. This is due to....
1) Bradford deal was awful, and it expires - no way you extend him.
2) Had option year for Bridgewater, but lets face it he wasn't all that, and you had no idea of his knee until he plays - which is why the pressure to play.
3) Case was a fly by night FA they signed for Bradford protection, he was never all that prior to this season, so no sense in spending alot to sign him.

So why the pressure to play Bridgewater? Well, you basically have the division locked up, so why not play him and see if its the Qb driving the bus...or the system. If it is the system, you can resign both Bridgewater AND Keenum next year to see who plays, and draft for future.
