(Rotoworld) New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg has temporarily renamed Manhattan "Revis Island" in honor of the All-Pro cornerback as Darrelle Revis and the Jets prepare to face the Colts on Sunday afternoon. Analysis: Bloomberg, who pushed hard for maximum punishment of Plaxico Burress following Plax's gun possession arrest, is clearly a Jets fan. He unveiled a municipal-style sign saying "Welcome to Revis Island" to be posted in Times Square. The sign will stay up as long as the Jets stay in the playoffs.

"Super fan" Bloomberg sure does know how to take advantage of a PR moment.

Hopefully this move doesn't over-inflate Revis' ego and under-inflate his focus for the game.

I kinda agree here....he's a hell of a player, don't get me wrong. But kinda getting sick of hearing about him and would love to see Wayne burn his ass for 8 for 125 and 2....I'd lmao off all game!
