Week 6 Waiver Wire Round Up

There is still plenty of time to make a move if you are off to a slow start and if your one of the league leaders, don't sit by and let your roster go stale. No matter the state of your team, the waiver wire is not something to ignore. The Waiver Wire round up is going to take some of the hot names of the week and let you know if you should be adding them or not.

If you don't see someone on the list that you are looking at, feel free to list their name and ask for an opinion. Also, if you disagree , let's hear it! Differing opinions are more than welcomed!

Let's get to it:
Quarterbacks:
Ryan Tannehill
- Solid and steady. Not many scores, but if it is a bye week filler you are looking for he's a good play. With injuries and bye weeks in full swing, he should occupy a bench spot on someone's team.
ADD HIM!

Brandon Weeden - He's BACK......but that is really not a good thing. He may show a flash or two, but if you are relying on Weeden you are in bad shape.
IGNORE HIM!

Nick Foles - It was only a matter of time until Vick got hurt. If he misses a start or 3....Foles is worth a spot at the helm of the fast break attack in Philly. Playing in the NFC East doesn't hurt his value any either.
ADD HIM!

Runningbacks:
Andre Ellington -
Ellington is making the list for the 2nd week in a row. I am hoping you took my advice last week as he will not be as easy to snag this week. He combined for 83 yards and you are starting to see the tide change. He is the most valuable back on the Arizona roster.
ADD HIM!

Zac Stacy - St. Louis has one of the messiest RB situations in the league, but if anyone can clear it up it is going to be Stacy. He had a solid 78 yard performance against Jacksonville. While I am not thrilled at his chances for the rest of the year, he worth adding as a bottom of the bench type guy. Keep an eye on his rib injury. In smaller league you and leave him alone. but 12 team and above...
ADD HIM!

Roy Helu - Just a reminder coming off the bye that Helu is worth keeping any eye on. Morris is not expected to miss time, but if he does after the bye week Helu would get a heavy workload. He has produced in past when given an opportunity. Not worth rushing out to add, but if you have an extra spot, take a look at him.
KEEP AN EYE ON HIM!

Wide Receivers:
Austin Pettis -
Turning into a solid option for Bradford in St. Louis. 4 for 49 and 2 TD's against the Rams. Don't expect the TD's every week, but as a bye week fill in he has some upside.
ADD HIM!

Robert Woods - We suggested you keep an eye on him last week as the opportunities were there and all he did was go out and get targeted 13 times in week 5! However, Manual is now out so the passing game is in flux once again. Based on upside he is worth an add, but if you are in a smaller league and can give it a week to see how the QB situation looks that is not a bad thing either.
ADD HIM!

Terrance Williams - Williams went off for a huge week during the shootout with Denver. With Miles Austin out, he is a solid WR of flex play. He will be on the hot list of people to add. You don't need me to tell you to add him, but we will anyways!
ADD HIM!

Keenan Allan - Allan looks to be emerging in SD. 6 rec for 115 yds and a TD against the Raiders earns him an add this week.
ADD HIM!

Tight End:
Charles Clay -
He is the #7 TE in the league....he should not be on the WW! If he is, do yourself a favor and makes sure he is not any longer. Solid play at TE and playing like a weekly start at this point.
ADD HIM!

Lance Kendricks - He has found the endzone for 2 straight weeks but that does not make him a lock for your roster. I need to see more in the yardage department before I believe his is a long term part of offensive production in St. L.
IGNORE HIM!

Gotta look at McGrath atleast as a steady bye week injury guy.
As weak as the TE waiver wire is looking, that is a good one to bring up. If you needed a one week plug in, I think you are onto something. Not sure his long term value or upside, but he looks to be solid if you need a body to plug in.

-Durham racking up the snaps in Burlesons absence. I plugged him in for Hopkins last week and he scored. 45 +snaps a game. He did better in week 4 with Calvin in, but this guy is gonna fill in fine for ppr. Check him out.
-Cotchery is kinda doing that Nate Washington, Pettis thing and worthy of a injury/bye week play. Also note that he is off his bye, and that's always nice for flexibility.

Bet you a dollar he will score over 250 yards passing a two td's. not great but I did say over.
I don't know RC. Tampa Bay is really tough at home.

Thru their 1st 2 home games they've played Brees and Palmer. Their combined stat line is 47-84 (56%), 560 yards, 2 TDs, 4 INTs.

I'll take my chances and say Foles doesn't hit the overs on 250 and 2 TDs.

How about INTs? He throws a couple picks and that stat line hurts a bit more

Foles, Graham are solid waiver targets now. I will throw out there with Foles, Celek will get much love over when Vick is in. If you need a TE fix.

The Bears have started the "Gotta Get Bush More Involved / Gotta Keep Forte Fresh" routine. He's getting most of the short yardage/goal line touches. Might be a nice bye week filler at home vs the Giants.

I did some research and grabbed Jordan Reed off the wire. I feel he is worth a look but might be a tad tougher to land after tonight.
