Whats the long term outlook on steve smith (Giants)? You have him in top 15, but he has done absolutely s*it all so far, and its not like the Giants O has been MIA, they have 5 passing TDs. I am bumping him down a bit, he is pissing me off (purely emotional rage, rest is logical/stats based)

For QBs, Schuab at 8th?? You even mentioned yourself later in the ranking, that Cowboys do decent against run, and this could be a shoot out, not sure how Houston getting all those points unless Schuab does it. Top 5 for me, always ahead of McNabb.

For the RBs, there is no way I have Best-Forte behind Hightower. He is just not good enough, even if Beanie is not ready to go. And Raiders are not that pathetic at home, they will force AZ to beat them through the air (probably fail to do it, but we will try).

For WRs, I like how Floyd & Naanee are next to each other now, never saw that big a gap between them. Based on my Schuab upgrade, I'm moving up Jacoby Jones as well, into the 39th-ish spot, ahead of guys like Berrian - Britt - Meachem.

For TEs, thats really preference more then anything else, but Clark #1 for me, he is the #2 passing option for the QB I have #1 this week as well in Manning. I dont see Rivers struggling or anything, but I have him about 8th as well.

Now for some questions:
1) Why is MOSS so high??? Is it cause its the Bills? You still have him ahead of Welker? That far ahead?
2) Aaron Hernandez - Behind the second TE in Wash? Nobody is buying? I agree too though, I am not buying, but just curious on other people opinions.
3) How is Campbell 19th? He might not even start? Are my raiders that horrible, nobody if even checks who is starting anymore? :(

Thanks for the input. Hightower has put out every week so far and I don't see that slowing down against the Raiders. I still like Best and am warming to Forte but looking at the matchups I like Hightower a bit better. On to the questions

1) Yup. Bills are crap and the Pats just lost to the Jets. I expect a very pissed off Brady to go yard early and often which plays into Moss' skill sets. Wolverine gets his but Brady and Moss will be vicious.

2) Behind the second TE in Washington because McNabb loves him some tight end....don't read into that too much. :) And it isn't a knock on Hernandez because I think he has skills. My ranking of him is more a factor of him playing for the Pats meaning unless your name is Brady, Moss, or Welker you can't count on them for production. They simply spread the wealth too much.
3) Campbell might not even start in lieu of Bruce Gradkowski so yes, your Raiders are that horrible.

Again thanks for checking in.

Nice work Ram! Thanks for the insight.

That being said, I have to be another one of these guys who comes out of the woodwork to question your rankings. Sorry.

How can Clinton Portis come in so low? He's facing off against 1 of the worst defenses in the league. I know you mentioned his health, but do you really think Shanahan would release LJ if there was really a question over Portis being good to go?

I think Portis is a great play this week and should be closer to the top 10. You heard it hear Portis owners. Get him in there for one of his best matchups of the year!

Ahhh Portis and Shanny. It's like I've lived this before. Yup, dead on about the great matchup (I actually have him higher than the other talking heads) but my problem with him is now three-fold:

1) Health. Dunno if his wrist injury has been affecting his production but that leads me to my second point

2) He's been crap. His two TD's skew an otherwise unimpressive first two games. If his role is as a short yardage and goal line guy I can appreciate that but I won't be giving him a huge vote of confidence.

3) Kieland Williams. I think he gets a big opportunity to rush against a fairly soft defense. You said it, Shanny wouldn't have canned LJ if he thought it would be a problem which to me was the biggest vote of confidence to Williams. I think he steals the show and likely splits carries with Portis.

Hence my low rankings.

At a loss for week 3. Running Backs are Steven Jackson, Arian Foster, Micheal Turner and Tim Hightower. Like Hightower Oakland matchup, dont like Foster against Cowboys, Turner grion and Jacksonknee against Washington. Recommendation on who to play is much appreciated

Good counter. Portis has been rather pedestrian but he hasn't really had a great matchup thus far either.

As far as his health goes, he practiced fully today and has no injury notes. I think he's set up to have a big game.
