To make playoffs, I need to win, and the guy above me needs to lose. I also must make up 18 points on him in the process. Standard Yahoo scoring, no PPR.

Pick 1 WR:

Santonio Holmes @ WAS
Denarius Moore @ MIA
Sidney Rice vs PHI (Thu) - Concussion
Also have Maclin but he probably is out Thu

Pick 1 RB:
Steven Jackson @ SF (#1 rush D, haven't let up a rush TD all year)
Jonathan Stewart @ TB
CJ Spiller vs TEN
I have put in a WW for Roy Helu vs NYJ

I am leaning toward Denarius Moore (upside), and CJ Spiller (volume) just because I need a lot of points. Thoughts?

if you can get helu he has more upside than any of those RB's. SF just shuts down whoever rushes against them . R. Rice only averaged a little less than 3 yards per carry and he is on a better offense than St.L. Stewart does well but does not get the TD's.
I think Holmes is the safer bet. Denarius might have a little better points ceiling but not by much. i would stick with Holmes. If you can't get Helu I would go spiller but i was wrong about him last week

I don't know how anyone can promote a Shanatoy in a must win situation.

I'd start Holmes and Spiller and hope the guy ahead of you picks up Helu.

Yea Tek what has shanahan ever done to you or anyone else in FF world for that matter.
I don't capitalize shanahan out of disrespect:rant2:
But seriously it is a dangerous thing to play a redskin this year but Helu is Helu to me and not a shanatoy. hopefully he will control his own destiny this game and not give shanahan the opportunity to make any stupid decisions that would limit his playing. I am more worried about grossman (another sign of disrespect) this week messing up Helu's chances than shanny. Helu looked darn good against a sout front 4 of the Seahawks.

Yeah he was the player I actually had dropping in my claim for Helu, which I got :)
Right now I have Helu and Holmes in.

Probably the safest Moore missed last week and may not show this week. Jacoby Ford has been banged up and in and out of the lineup, when he is in it seems to cut moores oportunities as both a WR and a KR.

Ford (ankle) jogged lightly but did not practice Wednesday, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Analysis: Ford appears close to returning to practice, but he probably won't play again until he actually gets some work in and proves he is ready for game action. His status for Week 13 will depend on whether or not he can get any work in over the next couple days.
