Ppr, dynasty league. First year, start-up draft.

Give
Ingram (6.04)
S.Rice (9.03)

Get
Leshoure (10.04)
Maclin (4.09)

I have (drafted) Best so that's why this owner is offering the deal. I have good young depth at RB and WR, plus three 1st round picks in 2013. Obviously I like Maclin over Rice but is that upgrade worth giving up on Ingram?

Ingram is just starting out... i think his upside outweighs Maclin's for sure, and as much as sid rice has been garbage, if he still on the seahawks that situation can only improve. Also i dont see bright futures for any of the lions' rb

You need to figure out if u like maclin or Ingram better. I think maclin is magic with Vick but how many games is that? Ingram is part of a platoon and honestly wasn't impressive last season. I generally like to stick to my own players when it's a toss up and that's what I would do here.

Uh, last I heard Ingram is still hurt, and won't be ready start of season, add to that the crowded rb field in N.O. and I would do the deal.

RB
Best, Jahvid DET RB
Carter, Delone IND RB
Greene, Shonn NYJ RB
Hardesty, Montario CLE RB
Ingram, Mark NOS RB
Starks, James GBP RB
Stewart, Jonathan CAR RB

WR
Childs, Greg MIN WR
Colston, Marques NOS
Ford, Jacoby OAK WR
Givens, Chris STL WR
Johnson, Steve BUF WR
Rice, Sidney SEA WR

For reference, here are my WRs and RBs. Does seeing this change anyone's mind? All the players in the deal have some sort of unknown, and I do think it's coin-flip but maybe cuffing Best tips the scale to taking the offer.

Take this advice with a grain of philly homerism...
Now hold on.....I try to be fair in these things.

I don't think anyone would rate Rice near equal to Maclin at Wr. Of course...that is because he is a Philly stud:wink:

But I also favor LeShoure over Ingram - Why? Less crowded backfield, and Best can't stay healthy.

I honestly would not think twice on this deal.

Personally,

I like your WRs
Colston/Johnson/Ford(if you get point per return)/and I think Rice is a sneaky sleeper this year if Flynn is the starter.

RB is your weaker position, JStew and Ingram are your best options, and losing Ingram would make you really weak at RB.

I would not make this trade.

So, I ended up taking the deal.

My WR/RB corps aren't going to be tops this year, but that was somewhat by design. Again, this was the first year of a dynasty league. I grabbed Cam and Gronk with my 1st two picks, and did a lot of dealing down after that to aquire 1st rounders next year (traded for 3, in addition to mine).

In the end, the injury bugs of Rice/Ingram outweighed their potential. They each have shown flashes but no player with a history of injuries all of a sudden stays healthy, so I cut bait.

Leshoure did have his injury but to my knowledge doesn't have a history of them... just a history of hitting the pipe, but he'll be peeing in a cup regularly now do I think that's behind him, and with Best's concussion history, as was already said, LeShoure could step into a starting (non-RBBC) role, unlike Ingram/Sprolec/etc.

I like the deal for you. Maclin is a great addition to your WR's and Ingram has not impressed me at all. He's banged up, there's a lot of other options in NO and that team is a mess right now. I think you take it don't look back.
