Vince Young is "prime suspect"

rotoworld,
Vince Young met with Titans coach Jeff Fisher on Monday and apologized for his actions that led to an assault allegation over the weekend.

"I pray to God that Roger Goodell doesn’t come down hard on me, because I definitely want to be here for my teammates," V.Y. said. "I made a mistake, and I’m going to own up to my mistakes." Fisher says he is "disappointed" in Young, and expects to hear from commissioner Goodell in short order.

God might be more inclined to answer your prayer Vince if you stayed out of strip clubs.

I agree that from a legal standpoint, nothing will happen. However, I think there might be a "code of conduct" issue with Mr. Goodell.

The video on U-Tube was pretty bad . Vince pushes a woman out of the way to get at the guy. Just plain stupid to put yourself in that situation in public when you're a high profile person. Walk away...........

Havent seen the video. Sounds pretty ignorant.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora predicted on Total Access Monday that Vince Young will not be suspended for the assault allegations against him.

La Canfora believes that Young being at a strip club so late and running into legal trouble might "raise some eyebrows," but would "be surprised" if V.Y. missed any time because of it. It's worth noting that Young isn't facing a misdemeanor charge. He was merely issued a "citation" by police.

rotoworld,
Coach Jeff Fisher will let the league office handle all discipline for Vince Young following a citation for assault over the weekend.

"Like the other issues from a disciplinary standpoint, the commissioner will deal with them and not consult with us," Fisher said. The NFL has confirmed that they will look into the incident, but Young could get off without a suspension.

rotoworld,
Commissioner Roger Goodell said Thursday that he's still in the fact-gathering stage on Vince Young's citation for assault last weekend.

Goodell doesn't have enough reliable information yet, so don't expect a ruling from the league office anytime soon. It's believed that Young is unlikely to face a suspension as a first-time offender under the league's Personal Conduct Policy.

The Nashville Tennessean reports that Vince Young will not be suspended for punching a man in the face at a strip club in June.

The Tennessean cites multiple "sources familiar with the situation" in its report. Young was never in real danger of being suspended, so this is just confirmation. The NFL is expected to make the announcement on Thursday.
