rotoworld,
CBS 11 Dallas reports that Vince Young is the "prime suspect" in a Saturday night assault at a Dallas strip club.

According to CBS Dallas, one individual came away from the assault with "a bodily injury," after "words were exchanged" at the strip bar. Police have yet to issue a warrant, but are targeting Young for information. V.Y. is believed to have fled the scene Saturday night before police arrived.

OMG I'll be glad when the season starts while I still have a few players left to play.

That's the big problem right now!! Most teams just finished up their OTAs and most players have 5-6 weeks of vacation between now and actual training camp. We need a..... Holding Your Breath..... smilie for this period.

.

Well this isn't good...

what is wrong with Vince Young? this guy is a bigger head case than Ricky Williams.

V.Young is already under a microscope with his past melt-downs, he needs to stay squeaky clean in his of field activities as well, he's a mediocre at best QB and can be replaced by a QB via a trade or FA with ease.

Just another in the long line of morons

Some folks just don't have any common sense, professional atheletes seem to be especially lacking in that department.

Come on guys. He was just "keeping it real"................

I just don't get the strip club thing for professional athletes. You would think they could find plenty of girls willing to get naked for free. Most of these guys must have zero game.............

Tonight an ederly man and he's dam old for me to call him ederly told me they go to the strip clubs to bee seen. Not to see the girls.

rotoworld,
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed Sunday night that the league will look into the assault allegations against Vince Young.

It's routine that the NFL looks into off-field issues such as this, but also reinforcement of the possibility that Young could face discipline. While V.Y. doesn't have a history of violating league policy, this incident may be enough to get him a short suspension -- particularly if he's convicted.

Unreal...................

If you can't control yourself, there are professionals that play that game (so I'm told).................

So which is it?

Should professional athletes indulge themselves in professional whores or should they bang their groupies?

Busted :rolllaugh:

Not busted at all..............:shake:

They should be able to bang their groupies if they want, but not rape their groupies. Kind of a big difference. The woman must be a willing participant. My issue with Roth was that the girl was too focked up to make a rational decision and since this wasn't the first time he had been accused of this, there might be something to the young girls claim that she wasn't a willing participant. 20 years old and drunk off her ass? Might want to walk away from that and move on to the next one............

Look at Romo. Guy has a ton of game obviously. Never see him in a strip club and he has never been accused of rape. He should be the poster boy for how to bang hot women who are willing participants. Him and Brady could team up on the promo...........

On the subject of working girls. Maybe rent a hotel room and have them come up there. Much cheaper than going to a strip club, getting in a fight and probably getting at least a two game suspension for code of conduct violation. Keeping it real has its price...........

He was issued a citation for Assault by Contact - Texas Penal Code 22.01

All that is required is you make unwanted contact with someome and they find it offensive. Its a Class C Misdemeanor, or the same level offense as a speeding ticket, punishable by up to a $500 fine and no jail time.

If he's smart he saves himself a ton of money, pleads no contest, and pays the fine, probably out the door about $300 with court costs.

Otherwise he can drag a high priced lawyer into a Dallas Traffic Court and have him argue in front of a municipal judge who likely has no legal training other than what he reads out of the book.

I agree that from a legal standpoint, nothing will happen. However, I think there might be a "code of conduct" issue with Mr. Goodell.

The video on U-Tube was pretty bad . Vince pushes a woman out of the way to get at the guy. Just plain stupid to put yourself in that situation in public when you're a high profile person. Walk away...........
