So what are your thoughts on the Favreless QB battle that will go on in Minny this offseason, Tavaris vs Sage.

Who ends up as the week 1 starter.....so they last all year?

I expect Sage to win this and baring injury he will retain the job.

Sage is the QB. Jackson could be a "wildcat" guy or something.

Not having watched the game the stats indicate Sage should get the nod next week to see if he can at least duplicate his results. At that point we can begin serious deliberation of one deserving to start over the other.

Tavaris doesn't deserve jack.....if he wants the job, he should earn it. His performances to date have not earned him the job IMO. He showed some promise, but he has not earned anything. Neither has Sage, so it comes down to this preseason, and TJax completing 46% of his opening game passes can't be helping him.

I read that earlier. They are hinting it might happen in the next few weeks.

ESPN radio ran with this all day today, this just will not go away. Some of the Vikes players stated that they feel it's a done deal...
