Ouch! Yeah, this hurt USC and the entire Pac-10 conference. Like it or not, USC is the bread winner in that conference and them being down is not a good thing. For that matter, I don't think this is good for College football overall, but it is from the standpoint of accountability. I agree with the punishment and I'm glad to see them handle this in a severe manner, but CFB is at it's best when it's powers are at their best. They will be back.....but it's not going to be quickly. Carrol knew this was coming and got out just in time to leave HIS mess in the rearview.....

Combine this with Oregon losing their QB and now winning the Pac 10 is up for grabs. Maybe Oregon st will win it this up coming season. lol

Carrol definitely knew what was coming and got out quick. I wonder what this does to all the newly signed players for the upcoming season and the committals for next season. I see USC losing some of those players.

Nonsense. The conference had two top 5 teams and a third in the top 10 the last time SC was down.

Actually Oregon losing Masoli is the blessing in disguise. They could be really good at the position next year.
