This is actually a pretty good time for them. They can pick the team that they fit into best and go to their tryout camp to compete.
I personally know 3 guys that have gone this route. 1 was an offensive guard that had bad knees and didn't pass the physical. 2 were running backs that nearly made the teams as return guys. They both made it to the last cut.
Kurt Warner was not drafted and turned out pretty well, IMO. Jake Delhomme was undrafted as well, if memory serves.
The guys that weren't drafted last weekend have other options that were unavailable to the guys I mentioned -- the Arena Football League 1 & 2 and there's always the CFL.

Awesome!! Glad to see this guy signed on with someone, and I hope he has a real shot of making the roster, especially with the lack of RBs there. He's from my home town and was a high school mega star, then stayed home to play for North Dakota State and was a big star there as well. I don't know if I've ever felt like he was a real pro prospect, but he's always stood out among any competition he's faced!

If you've been putting any research into this year's draft at all, you'll see a host of guys in that list that carried draftable grades.

One that sticks out is a guy we discussed all weekend long, Darry Beckwith from LSU, who the Chargers were fortunate to get.

After spitting in my face and not grabbing a Tackle all weekend, the Steelers grabbed a guy I really like in Ramon Foster from Tennessee in free agency. Also got Ron Jaworski's sleeper QB in Mike Reilly from Central Washington as a developmental backup.

Unless Green Bay also has a Canadian Football Team, which I've been to Green Bay, and that's entirely possible, the Green Bay Packers did not draft Kurt Warner.
Which brings us back to the other way to look at this thread. Great players not drafted like Catman said

because, like duk say about Warner not getting drafted, and like how he said he give a million bucks to everyone on gods green earth if the Niners selected a WR in the first four rounds, no specific guidelines have been outlined.

where's my million duk? don't tell me it's on your bill
