I have been offered WR.-A.Gonzales & RB Shonn Green for
V.Jackson, & Hakeem Knicks

League info: its a 1st yr. ESPN IDP keeper league.

If i take the trade that will give me.
RBs: B.Jacobs, K.Moreno, T.J.Duckett, S.Green
WR's S.Moss, M.Muhammad, J.Maclin, G.Camarillo, & A.Gonzales

I'd pull the trigger, but I like Shonn Greene better than most and dislike Nicks more than most. Gonzalez and Jackson are about as close to a wash as you can get going forward.
I view Greene as the feature back for the Jets as of next year, but to me Nicks is just another face in the crowd in the Giants' WR corps, plus they're a heavy run-first team anyway.

man, tough call. I like Jackson a lot, but also like Gonzo lt as well......close, edge Jackson in the short term, Gonzo in the long term.

so it comes down to Green vs Nicks......IMO this is personal preference and need. if you need a young potential RB Green is the better pick. if you RB's are good and you need a young guy at WR with a lot of potential then Nicks is valuable.

I think Green could help you long term at RB more than Nicks, I think I would do it.

I accepted the trade, i really like H.Nicks but it did come down to my need at RB. as i'm learning to give up players for positional need which will improve my team.

S.Green will be a MFBA for the Jets soon (i hope) :sweat: :grin:

Another bonus in this move for you is that you now aren't so heavily invested in the NYG with Jacobs and Nicks.

i also like this move . . . moreno and greene in a 1st year keeper league should be solid for a long time . . . maybe not right away, but be patient . . .
