I think the MVP award should only go to a super bowl player... are you really the most valuable if you didn't make it to the big dance at the end?

Pretty solid post there Mills, but in this case Im going to say no, I dont think you have to win the Super Bowl to be the most valuable. The Patriots would have been a losing team without Brady, and I think thats what they are looking at.

Are we sure Bellichek didn't rig the vote? I'm happy for Brady but I don't agree with a unanimous vote from the league. What exactly is the current measure of value these days? The patriots weren't the only team who struggled this year and were saved by the poise and talent of their QB.

Didnt see alot of him playing but what i did, i was impressed, esp in the playoffs. He came to play and play he did. It really looks like GB is finally his team. No more of the Favre monkey on his back.

If you get a chance to watch NFL Replay during the offseason and catch a few GBP games, I think you'll be impressed. He kept the offense together with duck tape and chewing gum some days thanks to injury and the typical game day blunders. It wasn't just his talent and ability on the field, it was also his leadership. And not in the Peyton control-freak sort of way.. more like the strong navy ship in the ocean way. Just my opinion.

Might have to do that. Right gearing up for some Arena Football action. Starts March 12th, with the 18th being the first home game against the Ga. Force. After the season is over i'll start gearing up for the NFL and CFB seasons. If there is even going to be one next year.
