I reiceved a trade: I give up Forte to recieve Austin...

Austin clearly isn't as good w/romo out and Forte is just inconsistent ...

I am the commish in the league, and it feels as though the league is vetoing just to stop other teams from gaining any comptetition against them...

whats your take?

Jeebus. Who exactly does this trade favor enough for a veto? Tell them it isn't July anymore.

I posted a Commish note stating that any trades from here on out that get veto'd for any reason need to be givin a justification from any one of the players who veto'd...

If not jutification is given then I will push the trade through...

Same rule applies to my recent trade...

Am I wrong if I push it through if no one bothers for any clarification?

I don't feel like you can push through the trade that was made before the new rule was put into place and starting new rules in mid-season is a tricky thing to do.

Yeah, you don't want to be changing rules mid-season. That just never ends well. If its in the rules that the league can veto any trade, reasons given or not, then you just have to ride it out until rules can be amended in the off season.

Once I put the new rule in, the same trade was made to me so I accepted...

And this is when it got veto'd again... and once again with no explanation, at which point i msgd the league asking someone, anyone to give one decent reason... and still no response...

So what do you think ?

Trades should never be vetoed in my opinion, and I run a league.
The only time is when it is not within the rules, but if two owners screw up, or one owner hoodwinks another, so be it.

I like the way "O" stated it in his post.

If there is no collusion, there is no veto.....owners should not be able to vote on trades for this very reason. I'd have no problem pushing this through, you are the commish, common sense and good of the league is your responsibility IMO.
