Pac-16:

Will be a 16 team league in which Texas keeps a modified version of the Longhorn Network, and only keep the money each year if everyone else reaches a comparable 3rd tier revenue stream.

The conference will be broken down in to four pods:

Pod 1: Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas tech
Pod 2: Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State
Pod 3: USC, UCLA, Cal, Stanford
Pod 4: Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State

You play each team in your pod every year and two teams from each of the other pods, giving you a 9 game conference schedule. The top two records meet at the home of the better team for the conference title.

ACC

Will be a 16 team league by adding Rutgers and UConn to the the current 14. Title games will rotate accordinly

SEC will be a 14 team league with the addition of Texas A&M and Missouri

Leftovers of Big East and Big 12 will merge

Mountain West and Conference USA will merge

A & M and Missouri to the SEC West and Alabama/ Auburn move to the SEC East? That's what I've been hearing. I hope not though. I sure don't want to lose both Bama and Auburn from the West.

Great input sarge. Pac 16 will be alot more interesting. I like what the ACC is doing also. SEC is getting A&M and Missouri. Kinda wish we'd pull in Kansas also(for their basketball team) and another team to get to 16 also. I see Baylor has shut up now, or at least haven't heard anything lately.

On a side note, got to thinking, TCU has got to be ****ed off. Arent they going to the Big East next year? Going to a division of leftovers if Big 12 and Big East leftovers merge. Who would it consist of? WVU and TCU and whoelse? Bunch of nobodies really. Going to be a field day for WVU and TCU playing them teams. WVU will be like FSU when they first joined the ACC, total domination.

Oklahoma came out today and said they would stay if some major reforms happened to the Big 12. Commissioner must go and major reforms to what the Longhorn network does and they said they will consider staying. The Big 12 Presidents did not like the way the Commissioner handled the loss of Colorado and Nebraska and they want him gone and a interim Commish appointed. Also Oklahoma St and OU say that the move to the Pac 100 is not imminent.

Oklahoma will consider staying in Big 12, but wants reform, according to report - ESPN

ESPN NCAAF Sources: Big East football to meet

West Virginia won't be leaving for the ACC or SEC after overtures were denied by both conferences, according to a report on CBSSports.com. The Mountaineers explored the potential of a move to either the ACC or SEC, but school officials told the Big East they were denied and would remain in the Big East, according to the report.

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Pac-12 Conference is standing pat for now.

The league's presidents and chancellors voted late Tuesday night to reaffirm their decision to stay at a dozen members. Commissioner Larry Scott says "after careful review we have determined that it is in the best interests of our member institutions, student-athletes and fans to remain a 12-team conference."

Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech were among those considering a potential move from the Big 12. After expanding from the Pac-10 with new members Utah and Colorado last year, members of the new Pac-12 won't give them the chance.

The league already negotiated a landmark 12-year television contract with Fox and ESPN worth about $3 billion. And it appears plenty happy at a dozen.

WOW.....no Pac 16 for now.

Statement from Pac 12....

PAC-12 AFFIRMS DECISION NOT TO EXPAND

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- In light of the widespread speculation about potential scenarios for Conference re-alignment, the Pac-12 Presidents and Chancellors have affirmed their decision to remain a 12-team conference. Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott said, “after careful review we have determined that it is in the best interests of our member institutions, student-athletes and fans to remain a 12-team conference. While we have great respect for all of the institutions that have contacted us, and certain expansion proposals were financially attractive, we have a strong conference structure and culture of equality that we are committed to preserve. With new landmark TV agreements and plans to launch our innovative television networks, we are going to focus solely on these great assets, our strong heritage and the bright future in front of us.””

This is the conference presidents reigning in Larry Scott, and I think its a good choice for them. He already made USC and UCLA take less money, he brought in Utah and Colorado, and I think the money is right for the presidents.

I disagree, this was Texas saying they won't share revenue from Texas network, and PAC saying no way then

Even tho it says here that WVU was denied, just reading today that they are very much in the mix to come to the SEC. Rather have them than Missouri.
