cbssports.com,
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that QB Aaron Rodgers will miss some practice time this week leading up to their Week 6 game vs. Miami after he was concussed on the Packers' last offensive play at Washington on Sunday. McCarthy gave no assurances that Rodgers would play but also did not rule him out. Matt Flynn would start in the event that Rodgers is not cleared to play. "There's a protocol, and he'll go through it just like we've always done," McCarthy said of Rodgers' situation. "And we'll definitely take the proper time and make sure he's fully recovered."

Packers backup QB Matt Flynn spoke extensively with Aaron Rodgers after his Week 5 concussion, and says he didn't notice Rodgers acting any different than normal.

The quarterbacks played cards on the plane ride home and talked again Monday morning. Flynn says he's preparing to take first-team reps in Wednesday's practice, but doesn't believe Rodgers' concussion is serious. "We talked as we normally do after games, normal conversation," said Flynn. "Hopefully, he'll be ready (against the Dolphins). If not, I'll be ready."

Yup, I stole him alright. What girl could resist Aaron Rodgers and my bad dice roll landed him squarely in my lap. Like a gift from an Angel :)

rotoworld,
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, there is optimism among the Packers that Aaron Rodgers (concussion) will be able to play in Week 6.

Rodgers suffered a concussion on the Packers' final offensive play in Week 5 but hasn't really been showing symptoms. We'll know more later in the week, but this is positive news for owners of Rodgers and other members of the Packers offense.

rotoworld,
The Packers have informed the Dolphins that Aaron Rodgers (concussion) will speak with the media Wednesday.

Usually when a player is expected to sit out, he won't talk to the media leading up to the game, so it's a good sign regarding Rodgers' availability for this weekend. ESPN's Adam Schefter previously reported that the Packers were optimistic about Rodgers' status.

Aaron Rodgers (concussion) missed Packers practice on Wednesday.

The Packers will apparently put Rodgers through tests later today or Thursday, and see if he can practice later in the week. Matt Flynn is currently taking all the first-team reps and preparing to start Sunday against Seattle.

While there was an ESPN report suggesting optimism for Aaron Rodgers' chances of playing on Sunday vs. Miami, the team held him out of practice Wednesday. Rodgers stretched before watching practice as Matt Flynn took the first-team reps. The star quarterback is on the mend after suffering a concussion late in the team's Week 5 loss at Washington.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy doesn't expect to have another update on Aaron Rodgers (concussion) until Thursday morning.

Rodgers will undergo his concussion testing at that time. Despite "optimism" in the Packers' organization, Rodgers' status remains very much in doubt for Week 6. His outward symptoms are not apparent, but teams have been extra cautious about concussions throughout the first five weeks of the season.

Your 18 minute updates are impressive but I feel you're wasting your time.

"Concussion" has breached the banks of a coach's, trainer's or player's decision and become a politically charged issue.

Dude will miss at least 1 game just to keep the "Do-Gooders" off the teams back.

Count on it.

Aaron Rodgers (concussion) returned to practice Thursday and took the vast majority of snaps.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel hinted on more than one occasion this week that Rodgers was expected to start against the Dolphins, and it most certainly looks like he will. (Barring a setback, of course.) Coach Mike McCarthy indicated in his Wednesday presser that Rodgers' concussion tests would take place Thursday morning. The fact that he's been cleared to practice on Thursday afternoon is a very good sign. A "questionable" listing is possible on Friday's final injury report, but we'd have Rodgers plugged into all lineups at this time.
