Texans RB Derrick Ward Dinged but should be ready for Week 5

Texans RB Derrick Ward was limited in Thursday's practice with sore ribs, but coach Gary Kubiak doesn't believe it will be a factor on Sunday. Kubiak is encouraged by how far Ward has progressed since signing, and the veteran will be the primary backup to Arian Foster the rest of the way. Steve Slaton is "the change-up guy of the three," explained Kubiak. Foster owners looking for a handcuff should roll with Ward.

Is that the polite way of saying you suck and you are the worst of the three!!:bs:

Heard on the radio this morning that Ward spoke out against Tampa. Saying that he's finally on a team that enjoys blocking for their RB and a team that actually has a desire to win.

Caddy slapped him pretty good with that one if you ask me.

I think Tampa blew it, personally, with the whole Ward acquisition, then letting him sit. They had a very motivated player that they destroyed while they payed homage to Caddy who has really only given them 1 half of a season of production.

They continue to do this to another player. Graham has been a very productive player for them, and they let him sit while they bowed to Caddy and hope for magic from Kareem or Blount. All they really have to do is let Graham p[lay ball and let these other two fill in while they learn the game from a seasoned pro.

Normally I don't disagree with you RC, but Ward sealed his own fate in TB. He was given the ball and repeatedly taken down with very little gains. He didn't take advantage of his opportunities, and Morris gave them to him time and time again before he pulled the trigger on the new carousel of RBs.
