IFL - WR Terrell Owens released

Source: ESPNDallas.com - Tim MacMahon

The Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League released WR Terrell Owens Tuesday, May 29, because he violated his contract with the team. Owens reportedly refused to play in two upcoming home games and was a no-show for an appearance at a children's hospital.

Typical. Not sure why any team in any league would associate themselves with this guy

If you're a small operation - ticket sales, name power, etc. But man ditching a Childrens' hospital appearance is almost like a work of movie fiction. That's pretty low.

RANDY MOSS BOUNCED BACK

Speaking of Moss there's this ringing endorsement from Vernon Davis.

Vernon Davis suggests Randy Moss is flashing early-career form in 49ers OTAs.
"Randy caught a pass the other day, I mean -— man, come on," Davis said. "There were three guys on him in practice, and he went up with two hands, and he looked like the old Randy Moss that I used to watch when I was in high school and college." Training camp reports will give us a better idea of whether Moss is truly in for a bounce-back season or simply flashing the occasional spectacular play. Source: Profootballtalk on NBCSports.com

I would have never guessed that Moss outlives Owens in the NFL. Just goes to show......

Didn't expect to see either name as a topic in the NFL at this point.

I've heard nothing but good about Randy this offseason. What ever distractions he had in life the last couple years must've been tied up.

Let's not forget that Moss is also 3 years younger than T.O. 38 year old players are rare in the NFL, let alone WRs, let alone WRs who are cancerous head cases.
