If you remember though he was hit more than any qb this year in that game. The Defense was on. 8 other teams suffered more sacks while Brady was tied with two others. Cam suffered 33 or so.

I honestly think that Denver would have been even better with Osweiler at QB. Peyton was simply awful. The fact that a talented guy like DT can have the kind of stats that he's had lately speaks volumes to how far Peyton has fallen off. I don't think DT even had 20 total yards in the last 2 games combined. That's just insane.

Half of Peyton's completions come on screen plays. Im happy to see him get this career ender win, but he had very little to do with it. It's all about that D
I agree Manning was pretty terrible but Thomas needs to also look at himself. Was a drop machine all year. Osweiler or Manning at qb didn't matter.

Honestly, I would not be surprised to see Thomas gone soon, he is a huge cost on the cap, as is Manning, with both gone they can get some more talent on O-line to help running game, and they need to resign Anderson I believe as an FA this year. Or ...god forbid they go out and get a Forte to fill the gap and really make the offense sing.

they have some solid young Wrs, so letting Thomas go would not hurt all that much. With Osweiller at the helm, I see a more ball control offense anyway.

Think Sanders can hold down fort as number 1 with some others filling in. They have to be careful with Forte. I would spend the money and draft on the o line and maybe an rb in the draft. They have to franchise Miller. If they do that then I think Malik Jackson is a priority he is an unrestricted free agent and underrated. Believe Travathon is also an unrestricted free agent and thought he was great in coverage. Really disrupted the Pats attempts to throw to their rbs coming out of the backfield.

Totally forgot Osweiler is a free agent. That will be interesting. Osweiler will have major leverage not much on the market and Broncos are too good on d to turn it over to a rookie.they are in win now mode with that d and don't draft high enough to get a polished qb in the draft.

At the same time do you really want to break the bank on a player that had 7 starts and while showing flashes definitely had his ups and downs. I don't think they win that San Diego game if Peyton doesn't come in. Then a road game in New England would have been tougher to navigate in the playoffs.

Give Brock a full spring with the 1st team and I think he'll be fine for their needs (depending on salary demands).

Keeping the D in tact should be priority #1 but that's not always easy with the newly acquired Super egos and other teams shopping hard for big name difference makers.
