(RotoWire) Suh told the Detroit Free Press he does not plan on missing any of the Lions' training camp this season due to a contract dispute. "I don't really foresee any issue coming up with me not going into training camp on time," the second overall pick said on Friday.
Analysis: The Lions' brass doesn't seem to think that signing sue will be a process that will slip into August, costing Suh time in camp with general manager Martin Mayhew saying he didn't think that "it's going to be a big issue." One thing of note is that on of Suh's agents is Eugene Parker, who also represents Michael Crabtree, the 49ers receiver who held out into October last season. Even with Parker's presence, neither side seems concerned at the moment that a deal won't be completed before camps starts.

(Rotoworld) No. 2 overall pick Ndamukong Suh reiterated that he plans to be signed and at training camp on time. Analysis: Easier said than done. "Like I've always said, I hope and plan to be in training camp," Suh said. "Where the contract stands? I have no clue. My agents are handling that." The catch is that one of Suh's agents is Eugene Parker. The Lions shouldn't hold their breath that he'll be in camp on time.

Good. He seems like a reasonable guy and should know what sort of deal he'll get.
