Cant really put a finger on it but M.Stafford would be on my FF roster way before even thinking about M.Sanchez.

Sanchez did better than I anticipated - thought he was a high risk of going the route of Leinart.

I would still hold that Matt did more with less where even though Mark did not have CJ the overall talent around him was higher.

Guess we'll see this year.

The comparison is still valid as the numbers are comparable. Do you want to add into the equation if either/both are injury prone after 1 season?

This will be the key season for both. Detroit seems to be making some very key moves. If they can improve the O-line at all, and both Stafford and Pettigrew come back healthy...could be a great offense. Adding Burleson to go with CJ is a good depth move as well.

as for Sanchez...they still need Wr help. Cotchery on his own is not enough. The run game should be fine...but need more targets...or Sanchez won't do well this year IMO

Agree. Stafford just seems like he could be a top tier QB in the near future. Just don't get that feeling about Sanchez. I think he'll be a 3400 and 20 guy in a typical season. Stafford seems like he has Manning type potential. More presence...........

Just my perception..........

What about Freeman? He had a higher completion percentage, with much less to throw to than Stafford and Dirty Sanchez.

I loved his willingness to attack downfield compared to most rookies. If he can get the interceptions under control, I like his ff future a lot.

Sanchez seems to have Hasselback upside in that he'll manage a game, take a few shots deep, but occasionally have a huge statistical game.

Obviously Stafford is the better of the two and is primed to have the better offensive skill pieces around him. But then again... I could just be saying this because I drafted him over Sanchez for my Landry dynasty team.

Stafford is set for a good year this year. And so is Megatron.
I would hold off on the major hype for Stafford. It can take a while to come back fully from knee injuries...and put pressure on the knee. We will just have to wait and see there.
