Sidney Rice has a lingering hip injury

Naturally he's feeling better now..... Farve is on his way back to Minnesota.

dude's just waiting for his boy Favre to get to camp. why practice and build chemistry with scrubs T Jax and the human helicopter? waste of time.

With Favre back, you'll see Rice return. Harvin did just a day ago. coincidence? I don't think so...cha cha cha...

I wonder if Childress feels like he's running a day care instead of training camp...

It's not looking rood for Rice.

rotoworld,
After testing his hip Friday, Sidney Rice acknowledged that his status for the season opener is now "up in the air."

Rice felt pain in his hip Friday when he pushed it to the limit in conditioning drills. That has to be categorized as a setback, and Rice's fantasy value will continue to fall as a high-risk/high-reward WR2. The Vikings, unsure of Rice's early-season status, are working out free agents Brandon Jones and Javon Walker. Bernard Berrian now looks like a more attractive late-round flier.

Great info Mud, don't sleep on Berrian.....if he can step in and re-find his mojo from 2008 he could be a hell of a find. Rice is going to be falling fast on my next update.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports with WR Percy Harvin suffering his migraine scare, Minnesota is working out former Raiders WR Javon Walker today.

Just saw a blurb on FBG that Rice may be facing surgery on his hip now. Potentially taking him out for half a season. That and migranes for Harvin and loss of another young Wr explain the need for Walker.
