Bengals | Jordan Shipley could compete for punt returning job Wed May 5, 05:40 PM
Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals WR Jordan Shipley could compete for the punt returner job during training camp.
Our view: Shipley is one of our favorite rookie receivers this year because of his great hands and work ethic. In addition to helping out in the return game, Shipley will also battle with Andre "Bubba" Caldwell for the team's staring slot receiver. We like Shipley in that battle because he's more explosive and can do more damage after the catch.

I like the kids chances to be the best receiver in this crop.

Shipley will be good... He has a very good work Ethic. I watched him in Texas and always thought he will be productive in the NFL

He will likely be available as late as round 4 in many dynasty rookie drafts too.....holding him for the next three years could return big results in time.

rotoworld,
Third-round WR Jordan Shipley has been lining up with the first team "frequently" in three-receiver sets this spring.

Coach Marvin Lewis has praised Andre Caldwell and Jerome Simpson this offseason, so it's too early to say Shipley has an edge on the No. 3 job. Those three, along with Matt Jones, will stage a training camp battle to determine the winner.
