Ive noticed a few things about both myself and the fans around here in this most shameful of 2010 seasons:
Come hell or high water, I am a Longhorn. Always have been, always will be. I dont give a damn if we are 0-12 or 14-0.
That said, there sure have been an awful lot of soccer moms who fell right off the bandwagon back around the OU game. I remember the pain of Mackovics last year, young as I was. I remember the bad times, and it made the good times all the more enjoyable. This is the worst time since the 1990s, thats for sure, but I know it wont last forever.
I know many of you have been there before. Share your pain with the Sarge. Tell me how you kept from slashing your crappy QBs tires so he didnt make it to the game. Tell me how you stood by your Tigers, Buckeyes, Gators, and the like when the chips were down.
Then come see me again with some beer after we follow up this disaster with a likely worse one coming Saturday......
