Seahawks May Move Unger to Center this year.

Seahawks GM John Schneider envisions Max Unger as a center, not a right guard as he played under Seattle's old regime. Unger didn't embarrass himself in 13 starts at guard in 2009, but he was more comfortable at the pivot spot in three appearances to close out that year. The 49th pick in the '09 draft missed all but one game last season with a turf-toe injury. Schneider's comments would seem to indicate that incumbent center Chris Spencer, an unrestricted free agent, won't be back.

Unger is a more natural fit at center. When he came out, I loved his versatility to be able to move around the line spots like he has, but the guy is just best in the middle.
