The Seattle Seahawks are expected to be one of the primary suitors for Houston Texans impending free-agent DL Mario Williams, if he is unable to strike a deal before March 13 to re-sign with the Texans.

ESPN's Clayton personally asked coach Pete Carroll if he would consider pursuing a high-end defensive end such as Williams or Robert Mathis. After much hemming and hawing, the answer ultimately came back "Yes.

The Seahawks D was a much improved unit last year, this could be a big move for them.

The 'Hawks are definately looking to improve the pass rush. Either from the DE or OLB position or getting a DT that would draw the double team making it easier for those outside rushers to get through faster. As a unit the DL did well last year, and with 3 DBs in the Probowl they are pretty good there. Improving at LB and pass rush are the main goals of the Defence for Seattle this year. Not a lot of work to be done with this unit. 1 or 2 key players are the difference to this being 1 of the top Defences in the NFL

Right on AD, Seahawks already look to be a powerhouse on Def next season, but they do just need 1-2 top notch to be outstanding

The Atlanta Falcons could show interest in Houston Texans impending free-agent LB Mario Williams this offseason if they are not able to re-sign impending free-agent DE John Abraham. Steve Wyche blogged on NFL.com that Seattle and Atlanta are the two best fits for Super Mario. Both teams aren't afraid to throw around money either.

Oh hush up, both of you, lol. He should stay in Houston or move to Seattle. I would not want to face him twice in the south division.

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to take a run at Houston Texans DL Mario Williams, if he becomes an unrestricted free agent and hits the open market March 13. They might have interest in pairing him with LB Demarcus Ware for a fearsome pair of edge rushers.
