SD RB Ryan Mathews has a groin injury.

Ryan Mathews left Monday's game with a groin injury during the fourth quarter, finishing with 13 carries for 57 yards on the ground and 55 yards on six catches through the air. Analysis: He did not score a touchdown and he fumbled twice, all the while showing less explosion than he has in the past, in all likelihood due to the groin injury. He has a ton of potential and if his injury isn't serious he's still poised to be a RB1 going forward, but his durability is a big question mark....keep an eye on him for nagging injuries.

I look for Tolbert to catch 8 to 10 passes vs. the Pack week 9. I bet Matthews doesn't play, and last weeks star Brinkley used sparingly if he is able to go at all. It will be 65 passes for Rivers with atleast 3 picks. I'm not calling it an outright victory for the Pack as this is a real nice trap game. I feel Tolbert, Crayton, VJax, and Floyd are all good starts, and one never knows how long gates can holdout anymore.

I agree. The Chargers will need to throw to stay in this game, and Tolbert will benefit mightily from that, along with others.
