He will miss significant time.

QB will miss several weeks according to Kubiak
Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub has a significant foot injury that will force him to miss several weeks, according to coach Gary Kubiak. Kubiak said Schaub will be in a walking boot and will spend the bye week visiting specialists in several parts of the country. Matt Leinart will start against the Jaguars after the bye, Kubiak said. Adam Schefter reported on ESPN that Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub is done for the season with a Lis Franc foot injury.

He was having a good year too. That sucks.

Have they broke the bad news to Leinart yet?

He'll be wrecked.

It's gone too deep for me, JJ.

I have no clue who the replacements are anymore.

Cassel's back up, Seattle's 3rd WR, KC's 4th WR....I think Schaub's back up rhymes with "Swine fart".

I don't know who the heck I would list in a poll as a pick-up.

Coach Gary Kubiak doesn't expect to know if Matt Schaub (foot) is done for the season until next week.
"[The evaluation] is going to go on for probably about a week," said Kubiak, "and then at some point next week we'll know whether he has a chance to come back or he doesn't." It's widely believed that Schaub's injury is of the season-ending variety. The Texans are awaiting confirmation from Lisfranc specialist Dr. Robert Anderson before announcing it as official

Not quite yet...but can anyone say that they don't feel the bullet is in the chamber for this year and the trigger is almost ready to fire?

Ok...depending on the severity its a 6-12 week injury after you fix it, then the recovery time.

I hope Houston isnt stupid, but they could be thinking they can get him in some kind of magical boot and have him ready to go in some capacity by wildcard weekend.

That's the impression I am getting also, that we could see Schaub for the NFL playoffs but we probably won't have him for our Fantasy Playoffs. Hopefully we will get more info after a Bye weeks worth of specialists.
