That's a long fall for my Tigers Sarge, deserved or not. Question though, IF we beat 'Bama will you jump us as much?

Iowa @ 18??? Are you kidding me??

Nope. The signature win of the year was over Penn St, who they apparently own no matter what the record.

What I dont like about Iowa
17-16 on a fluke of flukes vs Northern Iowa
24-21 over freakin Arkansas State

They are 6-0. I need to see more. This next game will be a GREAT measuring stick for me as to how good Iowa is. Ive seen what your boys did vs Wisconsin, now I want to see what the Hawkeyes can do against Wisconsin.

Had the wins over Northern Iowa and Arkansas State been more comfortable, Id have no issue with Iowa around 10. The chance is there to jump. I want to believe, but lets see how it shakes out after this game.

Not too far. They are at 16. Previous week they were at 6 in my poll. I dropped them a couple more spots than the big polls, but I dont believe in the LSU offense.

I think the bye is coming at the right time for LSU. What I hope to see is everything click and they come back and hammer Auburn and Tulane. Id anticipate LSU back around 10 in my poll when that happens (unless things get nuts). They beat Alabama at that point Ive got no problem with a major jump.

So you penalize them for beating a very good football team b/c they can do it on a regular basis? Your my boy Sarge, but that has to be one of the most :headscratch: explanations I have ever heard.....

And I'm taking it by their higher ranking you give PSU a pass b/c they can never beat Iowa so it doesn't matter.....:headscratch:

I think your getting at their ownership of Penn St. I wouldnt call it so much a penalty, as they just seem to have their number. Much akin to your Buckeyes over Michigan the last several years. Michigan beating Ohio State is a big deal. Ohio State beating Michigan isnt that big anymore.

I still think PSU is the better overall football team. Like I said, lets see what happens this week.

But what about what happened when they played at PSU??? It doesn't matter??? PSU is not the better team, they lost.....that would be like me saying I think Ohio State is better than USC......they lost to them at home, case closed IMO. CFB has enough things that are not settled on the field, those that are we should let them be. Iowa beat PSU and has not lost to anyone yet.....sounds like a case closed till someone does.....

And this weekend is irrelevant when listing week 7 rankings......you can only rank them on what they have done thus far IMO.

It does when we are talking about the basis of my future opinion formulation. (+100VBs to me for that $5 string of words)

A little. They still dont excite me.

They days events (USCs near egg vs ND, Ohio State's demise, What Ive seen of Alabama so far) gives me much to think about.

It may or may not matter for my next poll, but I am NOT impressed with Florida as of late.
